To celebrate Anzac Day I wanted to share this delicious easy recipe of these amazing biscuits
You will need
2 cups of plain flour
2 cups of rolled oats
3/4 cup of caster sugar x2
300grams of unsalted butter
1/4 cup of golden syrup x2
2 tsp baking soda
In a large mixing bowl add your flour oats and sugar
in a separate mixing bowl add your butter chopped into pieces and golden syrup once cooked
either on the stove top " 5 minutes on low " or in the microwave for about 2 minutes
add the bi carb soda mix until it makes a foamy light caramel colour then add to your dry
ingredients and mix well roll into balls and place on a baking tray for 10 to 12 minutes

There is something so beautiful about being surrounded by trees and flowers whilst having a delicious brunch if your ever near the Botanic Gardens at Mount Annan
Today we went to the Floriade in Canberra this is one of my most favourite things for Spring it’s about 2 hours and a half from Sydney into the ACT and it’s always such a beautiful drive
The display this year was gorgeous full of so much colour and beauty
We got Betty’s Burgers for lunch which was absolutely amazing so delicious
If your ever in Canberra they have this amazing Gelato place called Via Dolce the cappuccino gelato was incredible

The Winnie the Pooh musical was absolutely gorgeous we saw it Last week at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta a must see for any Winnie the Pooh fan
The last week I’ve been in Townsville visiting my boyfriend and finally seeing his hometown which is in North Queensland there winter is definitely not Sydney winter that’s for sure the amount of gorgeous tropical houseplants that I saw every time we went somewhere was absolutely incredible
Juliette's was the most amazing place for gelato and coffee these buttermilk pancakes with Nutella were so delicious also the butterscotch gelato was so good!
If your in Townsville the Watermark on the Strand does amazing food breakfast lunch & dinner
The views from the strand are so peaceful it was so beautiful just walking along the beach
Queens Garden's was full of gorgeous tropical plants that i couldn't believe where in a garden bed outside most of the plants I have are all inside here in Sydney Geri
